I need to know how to input point loads.  I have two types of point loads that I need to include in my calculations.
3a) The first are dead loads such as PV or solar hot water panels or other equipment mounted on a roof.  How can I include these types of loads in my calculations?
3b) The second type of point load that I need to include in my calculations are for a client who is a quadriplegic and moves through his home in a 500 pound motorized wheelchair.  How can I include this type of moving point load in my calculations?. I assume that I would place the point movable point load at the center of the span.  How do input this type of load?

I designed a multi-span floor joist with a beam in the middle.  Can I design that beam at the same time with the click of a button or do I have to manually enter the info that the design of the floor joist gives me and figure out how much weight it would be per ft?  Anyone know?  Same kind of thing with the footings having a beam weight coming down on a pad.
