just trying
Could not get the paches to instal….My current version is 8.0.81. Windows XP
I had tried 8.0.97 thinking I may have to install them in order…..
do I need to download and install each successive patch or just the latest one?
just downloaded 8.0, none of the service patches would load. are they already incorporated in the most recent full download? thx Pat
Absolutely, if you install 8.0.100 the first time you do not need to install any of the service patches.
Just the latest available patch. The newest patches always include all previous patch information.
If you can not install patches, normally, as in this case it is because your installed version is to old. Please uninstall and reinstall from the website the newest version 8.0.100 or whichever is listed. This happened in only a few rare cases when StruCalc 8.0 was first released. When I put a user brand of beams under the structural composite section of the material database, I cannot get it to show up when I go to run a beam using that type. I go back to the database, and I can clearly see the newly added beam types. But for some reason, it will not show up under the selection under the Structural Composite area of the Material Properties. Help!

I have been having difficulty with the program…using 8.0.100 but it will not run beams or columns. Runs foundations fine, but I get an error message (cannot find ‘System.EnterpriseServices.Wrapper.dll’ whenever I try something other than foundations.
