I currently have 2 seats of the Full version in my office.
If one of my designers use the lite version will I beable to open and work with the project file?
If I add a footing or collar tie, with the lite user be able to work with the file?
I need to spec out a deck design to ensure my design meets local building codes. The deck is a multi-level deck, the upper section is 300 sq feet and 98″ above gound level, the lower section is 240 sq feet and at 48″ above ground level.
The deck will exist in a flood plain.
Would StruCalc Lite help me determine footing size, loads on corner and interior posts, post size, beam size, joist size, decking material, etc.? My wife and I are retired and live on Social Security only, so we are looking for a reasonably priced software package that will make the County inspectors feel warm and fuzzy. All Lite version files can be opened in the full version of StruCalc. In reverse, not all full version project files can be opened in the Lite software. Any project file that utilizes features that are not available in the Lite version can not open or work with full version files.
However, if a full version file deals only with Lite version features they are compatible.
